Adoption Circle of Hawai‘i

Adoption has a lifelong impact on the triad - those who are adopted, those who have relinquished children for adoption, and those who have adopted children.

Adoption Circle of Hawai‘i, established in 1986, is a non-profit organization that provides information, advocacy, and support to members of the triad and educates, the community about the adoption experience.  We are a grassroots organization composed of triad members and professionals who believe that truth in adoption best serves the needs of all involved.

"In all of us there is a hunger, marrow deep, to know our heritage--to know who we are and where we come from.  Without this enriching knowledge, there is a hollow yearning.  No mater what our attainment in life, there is still a vacuum, an emptiness and a most disquieting loneliness."

Alex Haley, author of Roots
